Antonio was born in Fregesia Sâo Sebastian, Loule, Portugal, on January 25, 1915 to Rosa and José-Antonio. When Antonio was three months old, he moved along with his mother and father to Rio Tinto, Huelva, Spain, where he grew up as a child and served his apprenticeship as a machinist. When he was 24 he moved to Sevilla, Spain and at the age of 29, married the love of his life, Antonia, and raised two sons. He was widowed at a young age and did a great job of raising two teenagers by himself. He was a hard worker, who had many skills, and was a caring man. In the early 1970s Antonio came to Canada to be with his two sons. He worked at different jobs in Winnipeg as a machinist, mostly for Jenpeg.
